Part-­Time Errand Runner and Shipper 9 Jan

Cheree Berry Paper – a graphic design studio in Clayton that specializes in print and
stationery design – is searching for a reliable, detail oriented and skilled runner and
shipper.

The ideal candidate is someone who is meticulous about his/her work and has some
office experience. Candidate must have strong organizational skills, the ability to
multitask multiple projects at one time, a strong attention to detail and quality control,
and a willingness to work hard in a fast-­paced environment.
The position is part-­time requiring 15 hours per week and the pay is $12 per hour plus
mileage reimbursement. Hours would be Monday -­ Friday from approximately 5:00pm –
8:00pm. The position would be at the CBP studio, located in the heart of Clayton.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
− Work alongside our Production Department to oversee outgoing stationery
shipments. Create packing slips, assemble and disassemble boxes, take out
trash and recycling, pack up jobs, create shipping labels and ensure that all jobs
are shipped or mailed out at the end of each day via UPS, FedEx, messenger
systems or the USPS.
− Ensure all packages are picked up by our regular UPS and FedEx drivers each
evening.
− Run errands to the local FedEx shipping center and Downtown Post Office to
ensure the outgoing mail and late shipments are at their proper destination each
evening.
− As needed, run errands to local stores to assist the Production Department in
daily needs for various in-­house projects.
− Maintain accurate files with regards to shipping and purchases so that
appropriate charges are billed back to company clients.
− On an as needed basis, meet with shipping carriers to discuss negotiated rates
and process improvement.

Crossroads Office Manager 3 Jan

Covenant Seminary Housing Maintenance Staff – Part Time 1 Dec 2016

Our team is currently seeking a student for on-campus employment. The student will help our team provide corrective and preventative maintenance to on-campus student housing. The student will also help the team prepare vacant housing for new residents.
Schedule: We need someone to work 10-12 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible around school schedules and other commitments. Extra hours are often available during school breaks.
Experience: Previous experience in any of the following areas is preferred: plumbing, appliance repair, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and painting. Candidates without experience will have an evident aptitude for repair-type work. Some training will be provided on the job.

Youth Intern 18 Jan

Teaching Sunday school, Sunday evening youth group, and working together with pastors and parents to shepherd and evangelize teenagers at Concord Presbyterian Church (PCA).

The Youth intern would also be mentored in preparation for ministry and have opportunity to serve and develop other pastoral gifts. The session believes a couple who could both be involved with the youth ministry would be ideal, overlapping with the current intern in the coming months.

Concord is a dynamic, loving church family with about 130 members, about 35 minutes from Covenant Seminary, just across the river in Waterloo, IL.

Purpose: The Children’s Ministries Intern works directly with the Director of Children’s Ministries in order to effectively prepare curriculum, materials, long range plans, and other support necessary for children’s ministries activities.

Profile of a Children’s Ministries Intern:

• Serve: help lead and teach in the various ministries to have an understanding of the complete program (Children’s Worship, Sunday School, VBS, Kids Praise on Sunday evenings, etc.)

Looking for responsible helper to care for three children ages 12, 9, 7. Our youngest is a girl. Must have good driving record and high quality experience working with multiple children at a time. Responsibilities include driving to/from activities, preparing meals, helping with homework, assisting with baths and bedtime routine. This person would become a close part of our family as we have none in town to help. We are looking for a good role model for our children who could stay overnight with them at times when we travel. This position is part time and flexible. We would be able to guarantee at least 10 hours per week with one weekday (flex) and one Saturday evening (a must). Weekday times would be 3pm-9pm ish and we would work around the employee’s schedule. Saturdays are 6pm-11pm. We pay $12/hr with special overnight rates negotiated with employee. Summer hours could be increase if the ideal candidate is willing. Candidate must be comfortable with 3 solid swimmers in pool at times and must be able to swim confidently herself. Lifeguard certification & CPR is not necessary but definitely a plus!

Qualifications: Available to listen and engage in conversation with elderly dementia patient who likes to share stories of his youth. Must be available two days per week for 2 to 3 hours at a time to visit. Must be patient and willing to listen and engage in conversation easily. Must enjoy being around elderly people. Must be available weekly for visits.

Our Lady’s Inn Maternity Homes are seeking single live-in Residential Support Staff.

We have two locations –one in south city at Compton and Meramec and one in St Charles County (near Highways D &DD).
In exchange for free room and board (Private room), we just ask that the live-in be on call either 3 or 4 overnights per week. On occasion, they will be called upon to drive someone to the hospital.
We have two live-ins, so they split up the overnights, so someone doesn’t have to be on call every weekend night etc.
There are also PRN paid shifts available if someone would like to earn some extra income while they are living here, but it is not required to do the extra shifts.
It is a great learning opportunity for those going into any helping professions.
