Church Secretary 19 Jul

The First Baptist Church of Saint Peters is looking for someone who loves the Lord to serve as Church Secretary. This is a part-time position, working Tuesdays and Thursdays in the church office from 9am to 3:30pm. The starting pay will be based on qualifying experience and will be between $14 and $16 per hour. Additional time will be available throughout the year to fill-in for the Office Manager if the secretary is agreeable.

The Youth Pastor shall have responsibility for overseeing ministry to youth from 7th grade – 12th grade. This is a salaried, part-time position. He will report to the Elders under the mentorship of the Senior Pastor.
• Provide leadership and direction to the Junior High and Senior High ministry.
• Lead weekly youth group gatherings on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.
• Develop a curriculum plan and strategic outreach plan for Wednesday night and Sunday morning ministries.

Part Time Worship Leader 20 Jul

He will work closely with the senior pastor to help plan the worship service each week. He will make music selections and communicate them to the musicians and projection team.

Male Student Ministry Intern 16 Jun

(1) The Profile of a Male Intern:
CPC’s Male Intern must be a godly man who exhibits the following qualities:
• Dedication to student ministry: desires to use gifts to disciple students over a significant period of time (2-3 years minimum)
• Spiritual maturity: possesses a good understanding of the Scriptures, the gospel of grace, and a biblical world and life view
• Relational-giftedness: able to identify with and interact with Jr. High and Sr. High students and live the Christian life richly with them
• Leadership abilities: supports the vision of CPC and contributes to it by engaging in the discipleship of the next generation for the glory of Christ
• Effective teacher and communicator: clearly articulates biblical truth to students and philosophy of ministry to parents

(2) Job Description:

Goal: To minister to the students of Covenant Church (7th-12th grades) in a purposefully relational and thoroughly biblical manner that equips each student to know and love Christ and His Bride, the Church – to help them grow gospel roots and extend their gospel reach.

Responsibilities:
1. Pursue and maintain close relationships and fellowship with male students in particular. One-on-one relational ministry will be instrumental in this area.
2. Help teach and lead the weekly student Sunday school meeting.
3. Lead weekly student discipleship groups on Wednesday nights.
4. Attend and help lead all major student events, trips, and retreats.
5. Participate in weekly staff meetings with the church staff and Student Ministry staff.
6. Assist the Director of Student Ministry in planning, coordinating, and scheduling all student activities. Provide administrative and creative support in appropriate areas.

Reporting Relationships: The Male Intern reports to the Director of Student Ministry, as overseen by the Session, on a day-to-day basis and participates in the weekly ministry of the entire church staff. Our Videography Intern will shoot and edit video designed to reach people inside and outside of our church with the Good News of Jesus. We are looking for a nurturing, responsible, trustworthy childcare provider in the U. City area to provide care for our 1-year-old son in their home beginning in September. • We require that your home be non-smoking and that you refrain from drinking alcohol when our son is in your home.
• If you have pets in your home, we ask that they be thoroughly accustomed to having small infants and children also in your home.
• As our son grows we would like to encourage play that involves an active child and a passive toy rather than a passive child and an active toy. This means we ask that you not entertain him with television or many toys with flashing lights, but rather give him access to play objects he can manipulate for himself. If necessary, we can provide such toys.
