The Cakery Bakery is looking for a full-time receptionist. Qualified candidates will be highly organized, reliable self-starters with computer proficiency. Excellent customer service, math, and interpersonal skills are required as is a conversational understanding of cake decorating. While no decorating will be performed by the person filling this position, an ability to competently discuss cake design with customers is required. The Office Manager must be someone who is able to carry out their assigned tasks in a manner that is consistent with the vision and mission of the church and in the spirit of the Gospel. In addition to a variety of typical administrative and ministry support tasks, this includes participating in the Mercy Ministry of Crossroads’ Diaconate in a way that supports their mission and vision and dignifies our neighbors who come seeking assistance. The Office Manager will also deal with sensitive information regarding finances and other church business, and must be able to utilize discretion and maintain confidentiality.
To carry out the following responsibilities, the Office Manager will need to be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and various Google applications. They will also need to have or be willing to develop familiarity with InDesign, QuickBooks, and web-based communication such as MailChimp.

Hours: This is a 22 hours/week hourly position, with wage to be set based on experience and qualifications. Specific office hours are flexible, but need to maintain consistency and should be set between 8am and 5pm, Monday-Friday for a total of 22 hours spread over at least three weekdays.

Part-time Music Ministry Director 5 Jan

Position is part time (approximately 6-9 hours a week). Annual salary of about $7,000. Looking for an individual who loves God, can express the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and song choice, and who desires to help lead His people in worship. Preferably someone with some background in worship ministry and proficiency in either piano or guitar. The ability to lead singing is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
Based on their gifts, strengths, and experience, program staff may:
• Serve on a team that writes and edits training presentations, books, manuals, publicity materials, correspondence, and other resources.
• Work on program development, customer service, market research, consultation, marketing, information technology, operations, or human resources.
• Manage one of the above departments or functional areas, coordinating the team’s efforts and supervising one or more staff members.
• Direct two or more one-week training conferences that Stephen Ministries conducts in various U.S. cities each year. This involves teaching sessions, interacting with and assisting participants, supervising a conference team, and coordinating with hotel staff and other vendors supporting the event.
• Coordinate or serve in other areas related to the person’s gifts and interests and the mission of the organization.

Sunshine Ministries, a Christian urban outreach center, is seeking a teacher for our Sunshine School Program. This program serves pre-school age children and focuses on sharing God’s love while teaching early learning skills and promoting positive social skills.
