Childcare 3 Feb

Looking for Nanny, 30 Hours Weekly for Two Great Kids, Beginning March 1st

About us: We recently added a son to our family—December 15th—an early Christmas present. Much to our surprise, at birth we learned he has hemophilia. Essentially this means very little in terms of his current health but we are looking to control his environment and keep him a little extra safe from the inevitable bumps and bruises of daycare. In terms of care, we want someone that will keep a close eye on him as he grows and provides lots of love. He is a sweet snuggler and getting cuter by the minute. We also have a wonderful 3 year old daughter. We want someone to someone that is happy, uses kind words, is positive and encourages silly, lively imagination, reading, arts and crafts, dress-up, playing outside, provides structure, creates a learning and loving atmosphere through play. Also willingness to help with light household tasks. We are excited to welcome someone into our homes and want them to love our kids and in turn we will love, value and respect them and their willingness to care for the best part of our world. If you’d like to discuss further please email me a resume and references to or call me at 314-882-9709 and suggest dates/times you’d be available for a phone discussion.

Qualifications: First aid and CPR training or willingness to obtain training. Education experience with children/childcare a plus.

The Details of the Job:
We expect to need 30-35 hours weekly. Schedule would be finalized in coordination with the nanny for the right fit, we would be willing to adjust as needed. It is likely to be 2 long days (Monday/Wednesday 8-4:30) and 3 short days T/Th/F (7:30-12:30). We can also consider M/W/F from 7am to 5pm but our first choice schedule is outlined above.

Pay: $12.50/hr
